I am participating in the Kildare library notebook project, where I will fill an a5 notebook which will then be held in the Kildare Library. I have chosen the theme 'such stuff as dreams are made on' and will explore this through a variety of media.

Back in Dublin!

So I'm back studying in D.I.T now and have been focusing alot on drawing and printmaking.

At the moment I am interested in the connection between drawing and pyschology, bringing our unconscious imagination to the surface. My starting point is the scribble or doodle as this was in many cases our first point of artistic expression. I want to explore mark making through a range of media, experimenting with drawing and printmaking in particular. I will do this in various environments to see what factors influence or change the mark making process. So here are some of my experiments so far.
